Day-Star's monitoring program is meeting the needs of working parents whose children are participating in distance and hybrid instruction for the 2020-2021 school year. The program provides a safe, structured, and clean environment for your school-age scholar to learn. The program is located at 6180 Old National Highway, College Park, GA 30349 and open from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Virtual Learning
Our monitoring program provides instructional support and monitoring throughout the school day during virtual learning and fun, structured activities after virtual learning time. Scholars will be provided breaks, nutritious meals and snacks, and outdoor playtime.
Start of Day: 7:00 am
Breakfast begins 7:00 - 7:45 am
Instruction begins 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
End of Day: 6:30 pm
Extracurricular Activities
Activities, field trips, and events that extend the learning beyond the classroom is important. Day-Star brings the learning to scholars with virtual and onsite fields trips and activities that make learning come to life.

Curricular Enrichment
Our instructional coaches and site monitor work together to set learning goals and individualized learning plans for every scholar in our program. We work with the parents, teachers, and scholar to make realistic, achievable learning goals to help your scholar reach her or his academic and developmental milestones. Day-Star will provide your scholar with her or his own workspace and classroom supplies and resources.
